Americans lag in basic maintenance of their vehicles, survey finds

Think you're a good car owner? Think again. A recent survey shows that 90 percent of Americans think they do everything they can to keep their cars in top-notch shape, but far fewer actually take some of the basics steps of proactive maintenance.

Called Motorama, the annual event was a showcase for concept cars which revealed prospective design and technology directions for all of GM's brands and for cars in general. Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV (2009) unveiled

The concept tag is obvious, but the PX part designates the show car as a plug-in hybrid crossover, and MiEV stands for Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle. Externally the PX-MiEV drops heavy hints towards the styling of the next Outlander, but Mitsubishi has pared back the design and purposely avoided adding the 'rugged'’ elements so common to SUVs.
